What is the MOOD Sectional?
MOOD is a modular sectional system designed by KLC kre-a-tiv as part of the FILL THE GAP COLLECTION. It brings together deep comfort, architectural form, flexible layouts, performance upholstery, and designer clarity for homes, hospitality spaces, amenity areas, luxury senior residences, and commercial environments.
What makes MOOD different from a regular sectional?
A regular sectional is usually treated as a single fixed furniture piece. MOOD was designed as a modular seating system. It can adapt to different layouts, support generous two-person modules, create a more useful corner with the Cuddle Corner, and integrate a side table into the sectional plan.
Is MOOD suitable for hospitality and commercial spaces?
MOOD is designed for hospitality, homes, and commercial environments. It is well-suited for hotel lobbies, lounges, guest suites, amenity spaces, reception areas, and residential-style hospitality spaces where seating needs to feel elevated and function well.
Is MOOD comfortable for different body types?
MOOD was designed with thoughtful proportions and comfort in mind. The current specification includes a 17-inch seat height, depth options depending on the use of the lumbar cushion, and a medium softness rating. The goal is comfort for different users, not one narrow body type.
What is the MOOD Cuddle Corner?
The Cuddle Corner is a purpose-designed corner module that makes the corner of the sectional more useful. Instead of giving prime seating real estate to one awkward corner seat, it creates a deeper, more comfortable shared lounge moment and can help layouts face more than one direction.
Is MOOD pet-friendly?
MOOD is wrapped in a pet-friendly performance polyester upholstery with a soft, textured hand. It was designed for real life, including homes and spaces where pets may be part of the environment.
What performance fabric does MOOD use?
MOOD uses 100% polyester performance upholstery. Current fabric specifications include abrasion resistance of 50,000 or 60,000 Martindale rubs, depending on fabric version, and California TB117-2013 / NFPA 260 cigarette test pass ratings.
What colours are available for MOOD?
Current colors include Featherstone and Pebble Grey. Additional beige colour coming soon, and custom availability for larger orders is available.
Can designers specify MOOD?
Yes. MOOD is designed by a designer for designers and can be specified for residential, hospitality, commercial, developer, property manager, and amenity space projects. Designers can request product information, specification support, and a trade account.

Care
Spot Cleaning:
- Immediate Attention: In the event of spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth to absorb as much of the liquid as possible. Avoid rubbing.
- Mild Soap Solution: For persistent stains, prepare a cleaning solution by mixing a teaspoon of mild liquid detergent in two cups of warm water. Apply the solution gently with a clean cloth, then blot the area.
- Rinse and Dry: After cleaning a spot, rinse with a cloth dampened with water and blot with a dry cloth to remove any soap residue. Allow the area to air dry completely.
Regular Maintenance:
- Vacuum Regularly: To maintain the appearance and prevent dust from settling into the fabric, vacuum regularly using an upholstery attachment to keep fabric fresh.
- Back Cushions: To ensure even wear, periodically switch the positions of the back cushions to avoid consistent use in the same spots.
Do not machine wash or put cushion covers in the dryer. If washing is required, hand wash in cold water and hang to dry.
No harsh chemicals, solvents, or bleach.
Keep out of direct sunlight for extended periods to help preserve color.
